💣 Big Pharma’s Antivirals Are a Complete FAILURE! 💣
BREAKING NEWS! The so-called “trusted” RECOVERY Collaborative group, led by Sir Peter Horby at the University of Oxford, has exposed the ugly truth Big Pharma doesn’t want you to know! Both Pfizer’s Paxlovid and Merck’s Molnupiravir are utter failures when it comes to protecting hospitalized COVID-19 patients. 🚨💊
Despite all the hype and relentless pushing by the corrupt medical establishment, these antivirals did NOTHING to reduce mortality, shorten hospital stays, or prevent the need for invasive mechanical ventilation. That’s right, folks, they were useless! 🛑💉
The Real Findings 🔍:
The RECOVERY Collaborative group, influential during the COVID-19 pandemic, conducted trials involving nearly 50,000 participants across 189 sites. This powerhouse team has previously identified four life-saving treatments for COVID-19. However, their recent findings on antivirals show that neither Paxlovid nor Molnupiravir could make a significant difference in the outcomes for hospitalized COVID-19 patients. The trials collected data from January 24, 2022, to May 24, 2023, for Molnupiravir, involving 923 patients, and from March 31, 2022, to May 24, 2023, for Paxlovid, involving 137 patients.
Over 75% of the patients were vaccinated, and many were receiving other antivirals like remdesivir or sotrovimab. Despite these measures, the study revealed no improvement in the patients’ conditions. For instance, 74 (17%) of the patients in the Molnupiravir group and 79 (17%) in the usual care group died within 28 days (HR 0.93; 95% CI 0.68-1.28; p=0.66). Similarly, 13 (19%) patients in both the Paxlovid group and the usual care group died within 28 days (HR 1.02; 95% CI 0.47-2.23; p=0.96).
The Bombshell Findings 📢:
These findings are not only disappointing but also alarming, considering the significant resources and hopes placed on these antivirals. The RECOVERY investigators highlighted that neither Molnupiravir nor Paxlovid reduced the duration of hospitalization or prevented the progression to invasive ventilation or death. This lack of efficacy is a huge letdown, given the initial promises made by Big Pharma.
The study’s limitations, such as the lack of peer review and limited statistical power due to low recruitment numbers, do not overshadow the grim reality: these expensive drugs, touted as life-savers, did not deliver. The continuous push of such treatments raises serious questions about the integrity and priorities of those involved in the pandemic response.
